Mod Header is a browser extension that adds, modifies, or removes HTTP request and response headers according to rules you create.

What we collect

Nothing. Mod Header does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, or usage analytics.

What is stored, and where

• The header rules you create (header name, value, operation, URL filter, and initiator-site filter) are stored locally in your own browser using chrome.storage.local.
• This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party. There is no server, account, or telemetry.
• Uninstalling the extension removes this data.

Permissions and why they are needed

• declarativeNetRequest — to apply your header rules at the network layer.
• storage — to save your rules locally so they persist between sessions.
• host permissions (<all_urls>) — so your rules can target any site you choose. The extension only acts on requests that match rules you define.
